Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have moved to the UK after Trump was elected President.
The couple, who married in 2008, have reportedly put their Montecito, California mansion up for sale, according to The Wrap. Both are said to be looking for a fresh start abroad and have no plans to return to the US.
Another source told TMZ that the couple felt "very disappointed" by Trump's recent election victory over Kamala Harris. Ellen was a big supporter of Harris and reportedly donated $3,300 to the vice presidential campaign.
"There is nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can't wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president,” DeGeneres wrote in an Instagram post in August.
DeGeneres owns quite a few properties, with the Montecito mansion she and de Rossi bought back in 2019 costing them $27 million. They are said to now live in the Cotswolds in South West England, which is about two hours from London. Other celebrities who live in the area include David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley and Jeremy Clarkson.
