The right will move towards unification.
This is what the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, said today, after the failure of talks with Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the issue of the president.
Asked by journalists about Vjosa Osmani's alignment with LDK, Abdixhiku gave a positive answer.
"The rapprochement of Vjosa Osmani would be good news for Kosovo and LDK and I will work for this goal until the last day. I meet with Vjosa and we are friends. There are no conditions, unification has no conditions, it requires rapprochement, good coordination, a serious alternative for the country that works for the country and does not create continuous crises ," said the LDK leader.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced that the meeting with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku ended without an agreement regarding the presidential candidacy.
Kurti said he had offered several cooperation options, including co-government, the post of deputy prime minister and several ministries for the LDK, as well as the leadership of the Assembly, but none of them were accepted.
"I just finished the meeting with Abdixhiku, whom I thank! However, I must state that the talks were unsuccessful, because none of the offers were accepted by him. Initially, we offered that LDK be in co-government with us, to have a deputy prime minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and three other ministries. I preferred that Abdixhiku become my deputy and that we start a new chapter of cooperation. I also offered him the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. But in addition to this, LDK would also chair the legislature, while for Glauk they did not ask for a vote, but only a vote "for, against, or abstention". This was not accepted either, it was an option", Kurti said.
