Prime Minister Edi Rama will hold an official meeting in Brussels tomorrow with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
The meeting will be held at NATO headquarters and is scheduled to start at 09:00 in the morning, according to the agenda published by the Atlantic Alliance.
This meeting comes within the framework of Rama's official visit to Brussels, where he is participating in the 6th Intergovernmental Conference on the EU enlargement process. As confirmed by official sources, a joint speech between the two leaders will be held after the meeting.
The move comes at an important moment for Albania, as today the European Union opened four new negotiation chapters with our country.
The meeting with Rutte is seen as a clear signal for the consolidation of Albania's position as a strategic partner, both in NATO and in the European integration process.
Rama is also expected to discuss with the NATO chief developments in the Balkan region, security challenges and the role that Albania has assumed within the framework of Euro-Atlantic commitments.
