Spartak Ngjela has commented on the political situation in the country.
In harsh tones towards the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, Ngjela stated that he is a politically exhausted figure and that his departure from the political scene would bring a new future for the Democratic Party.
"Haven't you learned who Saliu is yet? He is national trash, he has no more votes. You will hear him, he has not worked for Albania. Don't mess with him," Ngjela said in the Report TV studio.
Ngjela emphasized that Berisha no longer has any representative role and that he has been declared "non grata" by the US.
"He has always done this. He cannot even be a director in a company, he has been declared non grata. Repetition is a bankruptcy," Ngjela continued.
The lawyer underlined that to save the Democratic Party, Berisha must step down from its leadership, adding that there is tacit cooperation between him and Rama.
"If he leaves the DP, the Democratic Party will take power. Rama and Berisha are together. Do you understand that Saliu is supporting Rama," the lawyer continued.
Regarding justice and the fight against corruption, Ngjela praised the work of SPAK and the involvement of foreign experts in the investigations being carried out.
"SPAK is working, and it has foreign experts and they are scrupulous. SPAK has worked very well. Saliu is in criminal proceedings. What about the others, because the corruption was very widespread?", he said.
According to Ngjela, the country is facing a decisive moment to emerge from the usurpation and fulfill the goal declared by international allies.
"We will stand by what Blinken said, we will eliminate corruption. We are waiting for Albania to emerge from the usurpation," concluded Ngjela.
