The Shkodra Court has imposed the security measure 'compulsory appearance' on a police officer and 3 employees of the Territorial Protection Inspectorate (IMT) in Shkodra.
Officer AD, with inspectors D. Ll, JH, and ML, all employed by the Municipality of Vau i Dejës, have favored unauthorized constructions that were being carried out by several persons illegally.
Meanwhile, investigations are continuing to fully unravel the case and identify other people involved.
"The Police Supervision Agency (Shkodra-Lezhë Region) has executed the decision of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Shkodra, which has imposed personal security measures of a prohibitive nature "Obligation to report to the judicial police" provided for in Article 234 of the Criminal Procedure Code, for a police officer and three IMT employees, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Abuse of office" provided for in Article 248 of the Criminal Code.
AD, with the duty of N/Community Policing Specialist at the Vau i Dejës Police Station.
D. LL., with the duty of Inspector at the IMT, Vau i Dejës Municipality.
JH, with the duty of Inspector at the IMT, Vau i Dejës Municipality.
ML, with the duty of Manager at the IMT, Vau i Dejës Municipality.
The assignment of security measures was made possible by investigative actions in cooperation with the Shkodra Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, after information was provided by AMP that some citizens were building illegally, being favored by police and IMT employees.
"Investigations are ongoing to fully uncover the incident and the possible involvement of other persons in this criminal activity," AMP reports.
