Two people were arrested in Tirana, accused of supplying cocaine to several areas in the capital.
According to the police, Ismet Daja, 58, previously convicted of crimes against life, and Kejdi Daja, 26, cousins, were arrested.
According to the police, the two arrested people supplied cocaine to distributors in the Tufina, Kinostudio and Fresku areas, who then divided it into doses and sold it.
"They were providing cocaine in large quantities and then selling it to other citizens, with the aim of dividing it into doses and selling it in the areas of Tufina, Kinostudio and Fresku. 2 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto. 1 kg and 300 grams of cocaine were seized."
The services of the Police Commissariat No. 4, in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section, based on information received in operational channels that two citizens would sell a quantity of narcotics, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "White Pack", within the framework of which the citizens were captured and arrested in flagrante delicto: ID, 58 years old, previously convicted of crimes against life, and KD, 26 years old, relatives of each other.
These citizens, on "Myslym Keta" street, were caught red-handed with a quantity of cocaine, which they were going to sell to other people for division into doses and its sale in the areas of Tufina, Kinostudio and Fresku.
During physical searches, in the vehicle and in their homes, a total of 1 kg and 300 grams of cocaine were found, which was seized along with the vehicle and the two cell phones of the arrested persons.
"Investigations are ongoing to identify and bring to justice all citizens involved in this criminal activity. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
