Village residents have revealed shocking details about the serious incident.
The headman of the village of Frashër, Irakli Zarka, tells in shock how he learned of the serious crime in the family, where he was initially told that Anesti Rama had suffered a heart attack and passed away.
He says that Anesti Rama has always lived in extremely difficult economic conditions, starting as a shepherd of a herd of goats, as a manual laborer for several years in Greece, and ending as an employee of a livestock farm in the area.
He had no social life, says the elder Zarka, he only knew work and home, where he was treated very badly by his wife Valbona and daughter Ermalinda. They left him without food and wanted to chase him out of the house, while he says that he was treated with economic assistance of 3 thousand lek per month.
"The local authority told me that he was drowned by his wife and maid," says Zarka.
"Nesti was a smart, hardworking boy, he worked. He had been in Greece for some time, he worked there. And they didn't treat him well. He complained to me, he always told me that they didn't treat him well. They didn't give him anything to eat. They told him to leave the house. I went there, and the police went there several times. They were disobedient. We felt very sorry," says Zarka.
He says he had spoken to the employment office several times to find jobs for the daughter and mother, but they did not want to work.
"They only wanted to stay home, watch soap operas, and let Nesti work," he says.
Zarka also claims that despite being constantly mistreated, he is not surprised by the way his life was taken since everything was expected of them both.
Meanwhile, the deceased was escorted to his final residence yesterday, while the other girl, who came from Italy amidst pain, says off-camera that this door was closed forever.
