A 19-year-old man who was involved in an accident this afternoon, around 5:50 p.m., on the Elbasan-Librazhd road, in the village of Mengël, has passed away.
The young man was immediately transported to the hospital in serious condition, where he received medical attention, but unfortunately did not survive his injuries.
According to preliminary data, the vehicle driven by 19-year-old citizen Klement Balla veered off the road, causing the fatal accident.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances and determine the causes of the accident.
"Preliminary information - On the "Elbasan-Librazhd" road axis, in the village of Mengël, the vehicle driven by citizen KB, 19 years old, went off the road.
As a result of the accident, the UN citizen lost his life.
"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office continues its work to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident," the police announced.
