Police have revealed new details from the stabbing that occurred on Thursday morning at the Shkodra Polyclinic, where a conflict between two people risked escalating into another serious incident.
According to the official announcement, at around 11:30, inside the polyclinic, in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood, citizen Arvin Fregjaj, 18 years old, is suspected of having stabbed Vildan Kepëca, 32 years old, after a conflict over weak motives.
The injured person was immediately transported to the hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services headed to the scene. Along the way, the officers received information that Arben Kepëca, 41 years old, the brother of the injured man, after learning about the incident, had taken a pistol firearm, with a cartridge in the chamber, and had set off on foot with the intention of killing the suspected perpetrator of the injury.
Police intervened immediately, preventing the situation from escalating. During the operation, the 41-year-old attempted to flee and threw away the firearm he was carrying, but was caught and arrested in the act.
Meanwhile, the Police services continue their search for the location and capture of the suspected perpetrator of the injury, 18-year-old AF.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its actions to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.
"The details of the incident in Shkodra are being revealed. The police inform that at around 11:30, in the interior of the polyclinic, in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood, it is suspected that, during a conflict for weak motives, citizen AF, 18 years old, injured citizen VK, 32 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), who was transported to the hospital and is under the care of doctors.

Along the way, they received information that the injured man's brother, citizen AK, 41 years old, after learning about the incident, had taken a pistol firearm, with a cartridge in the chamber, and set off on foot to kill the suspected perpetrator of his brother's injury.
The Police Services intervened immediately, taking the necessary security measures, and made it possible to capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the citizen AK, 41 years old, who during the intervention attempted to flee and threw away the firearm he was carrying.
"Police services continue their work to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator of the injury, citizen AF. The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify and document the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
