A serious accident occurred on "Jordan Misja" street yesterday evening in Tirana.
According to the police, a young man around 27 years old crashed the bicycle on which the 54-year-old man with the initials S. Xh was riding.
As a result of the injuries sustained, the 54-year-old man died in hospital. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further investigation.
"On 18.07.2025, on "Jordan Misja" street, the vehicle driven by citizen HM, about 27 years old, crashed into the bicycle on which citizen S. Xh., about 54 years old, was riding. As a result of the accident, the 54-year-old was injured and died in hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further investigative actions. The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police statement said.
