The plan for Gaza, Albania and Kosovo in a high-risk mission...

According to our sources, Albanian troops will be deployed in Deir al-Balah, while Kosovo troops will be deployed near the border with Israel; there is a lack of transparency on the operational plan...

The area where Albanian and Kosovo troops will be deployed in Gaza has been revealed, according to the plan approved by Trump at the Peace Board.

Pamphlet sources announced that Albania's peacekeeping troops will be deployed in the center of Gaza, namely in Deir al-Balah, while Kosovo's troops will be deployed in the north of Gaza, on the border with Israel.

Under the agreement signed at the Peace Board, five countries have pledged to send troops to Gaza as part of a new International Stabilization Force (IFF). The plan was announced during US President Donald Trump's Peace Board Summit in Washington, DC.

The countries sending troops are Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo and Albania.

Egypt and Jordan will support the mission by training Palestinian police officers. The force will be led by US Army General Jasper Jeffers, appointed commander of the upcoming Gaza Stabilization Mission by the Trump administration.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has said his country is ready to deploy up to 8,000 troops and said Indonesia wants to help "make this peace work" in Gaza. Indonesia was among the first countries to send troops. Officials in Jakarta have stressed that their role will focus on humanitarian tasks.

Hamas' lair

Deir al-Balah, the area that has been designated to be administered by Albanian military troops, is one of the most problematic territories in the area that has been in Hamas hands since 2005.

The last census was conducted in 2007 and recorded 54 thousand inhabitants, but it is thought that the population has increased significantly in recent years, and is believed to be approaching 200 thousand.

Deir al-Balah is known for the refugee camp of the same name, located on the seashore, which, like that of Khan Younis, has served as a nursery for soldiers of Hamas' armed brigades.

It is located north of the city of Khan Younis, the birthplace of the terrorist organization's notorious leader, Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by the Israeli IDF in August 2024.

Khan Younis has been the political, logistical and military center of Hamas, which had its first bases of activity in Deir al-Balah, where Albanian forces are expected to be deployed. Until now, this area has been under the leadership of the notorious Ahmad Kurd, mayor and sheikh of the city's mosque. Kurd died in 2020, but it is still not known who the new Hamas chief for the area is, which is kept secret by the terrorist organization's Political Bureau.

Meanwhile, Kosovo troops are expected to be deployed north of Gaza City, which is located on the border with Israel. Although it seems like a quieter area, it is still a delicate territory, as it will always be a passageway for people and goods, but also a target for Hamas troops or agents.

On the infamous October 7, 2023, it was precisely this area that was used to attack Israel and carry out the bloody massacres of killing 1,200 civilians and taking 250 others hostage.

However, Kosovo has not yet ratified the Peace Board agreement in Parliament, and so far there is no sealed act accepting the deployment of troops.

Lack of transparency

The deployment of Albanian troops to Gaza is neither a walk in the park, nor is it an act that can be taken according to Edi Rama's personal mood. At the very least, it is a very serious commitment, which also has many risks and surprises.

The operation could present our forces with a variety of challenges, not only facing a population that is at least somewhat unfriendly, but also facing a trained and motivated terrorist army that has shown itself to be ruthless over the years.

Precisely for this reason, our engagement, both in the Peace Board, but also on the ground with troops, should at least have been discussed transparently.

With a perfidious cunning, Edi Rama, blew the smoke of Ivanka's visit and absence in Davos to the opposition, forcing them to vote in Parliament on the Peace Board agreement. Which received the votes of both main parties. Legally, Edi Rama washed his hands like 'Ponce Pilate', but no one knows in detail what the plan or concept of the engagement of our troops is, but also the scenarios for managing serious situations that may arise./ Pamphlet
