As expected, Tomahawk missiles were likely at the top of Ukraine's agenda in the meeting with President Donald Trump.
These are weapons with a significantly longer range than anything in Ukraine's arsenal and have caused a worrying reaction in Russia. But after Trump's call with Vladimir Putin yesterday, he downplayed the chances of sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
In his first statement to the media after leaving the White House, Zelensky said he would not answer media questions about this.
"Of course, we talked about long-range missiles. And I don't want to make any statements about that. They decided, that we don't talk about that because... the United States doesn't want this escalation. So, I mean, that would be out of the question, I'm sorry about that ," Zelensky said.
