The 27th protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office was also accompanied by moments of emotion, as activist Gerta Loka from Mirdita gave a heartfelt speech, calling on citizens to continue the protest until their objectives are achieved.
Tearfully, she revealed that she had left her life in Europe to return to Albania, wanting her children to grow up with their grandparents. However, according to her, the reality she found in the country was disappointing.
"Today I found out that a Russian or an Iranian could come and buy the two fields next to the stable, because I can't buy them. Who hasn't been to the hospital once and not come back humiliated? Who hasn't been to customs and not been neglected, or not been subjected to the administration? The municipalities are run by militants. Ignorants are running Albania ," she said.
At the end of her speech, the protester appealed to citizens not to give up on the protests.
"I want us not to give up! We are here against all those who are sitting in those chairs, against a system that expelled our hearts, for those mothers who kiss the phone because their children are not here. Where do you live, Mr. Prime Minister? Get up, Albanians!", she declared.
