The plenary session was temporarily suspended after opposition MPs blocked the rostrum immediately after the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, closed the discussions on procedure and announced the start of the presentation of the reports of the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party on territorial reform.
Peleshi gave the floor to the co-chairs of the committee, Arbjan Mazniku and Luçiano Boçi, to continue presenting the respective reports.
However, opposition MPs opposed the conduct of the procedure and did not allow the SP representative to continue reporting.
Due to the blockage of the podium and the inability to continue the proceedings normally, the Speaker of the Assembly announced the suspension of the session for 5 minutes, pending the vacating of the podium.
