A change in weather will occur from tomorrow afternoon, with heavy rains and storms, the phenomena will be accompanied by intense electrical activity.
This is reported by Weather Phenomena. According to it and Greek media reports, Albania will be among the most affected countries in the region.
According to the forecast of ERT meteorologist Panagiotis Giannopoulos, the most intense storms will hit Corfu from Saturday afternoon until the early hours of Sunday. At the same time, local rainfall will be recorded in Albania, which will last until Sunday.
"I feel sorry for those who are getting married this weekend in Corfu, as the storms will be strong," he said.
Meteorologist Sakis Arnaoutoglou gives the same view, warning of storms in the northern Ionian Sea from Saturday morning. By noon, the phenomena will extend to the central Ionian Sea.
