Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again to the protests taking place in Tirana by citizens who are against the construction of the resort in Zvërnec.
While releasing a video interview of a citizen who insults and threatens with death, the head of government emphasizes that Albania will be built according to the vision that was voted for by the majority of citizens in the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025.
"Good morning and with apologies for this unusual video-card from the "Albania of Albanians", and assuring everyone that Albania will be built according to the contract we signed for the fourth time last May with 83 votes, regardless of what these Albanians who know Albania as the hostage of their blindness and patriotism as a podium to curse Albania's imaginary traitors and enemies with a house book, I wish you a good day with a special hug for those of me who are still hostage to a protest that has lost any real reason for starting," Rama writes.
Yesterday, in parallel with the first hours of the rally, Rama held a meeting with socialists in Tirana, within the framework of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party.
Protests against the Zvërnec project have been ongoing for several days, following an incident in which a protester was assaulted in Vlora by employees of a private security company protecting the construction site. Citizens are demanding a halt to the project, as they say it violates the protected area of the Narta Lagoon.

Arroganca tregon gjithmone fundin e nje "diktatori". Deliri madheshtise do te marri ne qafe, dhe renia jote ne gremine sapo ka filluar. Do thyesh qafen. Dukesh i trembur dhe ske faj. E ndjen qe po te tronditen themelet. Ke blere gjithcka ne kete vend, por populli eshte pak me i madh se kaq. Ketu do jemi do shohim vazhdimin.
