Several Latvian fans were assaulted by Albanian teenagers as they headed to the stadium to watch the match between their national team and the Albanian national team.

Euronews Albania has secured footage from the moment of violence, where it appears that one of the Latvian fans is bleeding from the head.

Albanian teenagers attacked Latvian fans who were family members by hitting them with hard objects, punching and kicking them.

The reason was because they wanted to take away the symbols they were holding, the scarves or flags.
