A serious event was learned today in Italy, where it was announced that a very well-known television and sports personality, Pol Bakaljini, has passed away at the age of 41.
Initial suspicions are that Bakaljini ended his life in his apartment, where his partner had found him. However, investigations are continuing to avoid any suspicions about the circumstances surrounding the death of the character who has made a name for himself in various ways in Italy.
He had been a basketball player before becoming an investigative journalist on the show "Le Iene", where he had stood out especially for his direct interviews with politicians in the country. Bakaljni then moved into finance, opening investment funds and in 2017, reached an agreement to buy the Palermo club.
He was also declared president of the club after reaching an agreement with Maurizio Zamparini for the sale. But in the end nothing came of it, as Zamparini announced a few months later that he had not received the necessary financial guarantees from him, with Bakaljini having "resigned" and continuing to deal with the financial activities of these investment funds.
