Around the 40th minute of the match, Molumbi was sending the ball towards the opponent's goal and the Majorca player tried to foul him. The first intervention by the Spanish player was unsuccessful, while Samu Kosta managed to stop the opponent with a slide. The referee immediately awarded the free kick in favor of West Bromwich, but it did not end there.
