Granit Xhaka could be one of the most talked about names of the summer transfer window. The Albanian midfielder is on Chelsea's radar, with manager Xabi Alonso identifying him as one of the priority reinforcements for the midfield department.
According to reports, the London club are ready to submit a bid of 30 million euros to secure the services of the Swiss national team captain. Alonso has full confidence in Xhaka, with whom he collaborated during his successful period at Bayer Leverkusen.
On the other hand, Sunderland are in no hurry to let go of one of their most important players. Xhaka is under contract with the English team until the summer of 2028, which gives the club a strong position in negotiations.
However, a €30m bid could change the situation. Sunderland paid €15m to sign Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen, and could now make a substantial profit if they decide to sell him this summer.
