
Robert Lewandowski has commented on the upcoming match between Poland and Albania, valid for the semi-finals of the "play-off" phase, describing it as a decisive match for his team's objectives.
The Poland captain sees this match as a key step towards the final, where the winner will face either Ukraine or Sweden for a place in the World Cup. According to him, the Polish team will approach this challenge with the utmost seriousness.
" I'm treating the match with Albania as a semi-final that must be won. This is the goal of everyone in Poland and we will do our best to achieve it ," said Lewandowski.
The Barcelona forward has also reacted to recent speculation surrounding a possible departure from the national team in the event of a failure to qualify. He has denied these rumors, stressing that he does not see this match as his last with the Poland shirt.
" I don't approach this challenge as if it were my last game. The goal is to play in the final and fight as a team for this qualification ," he added.
