Week 29 in the First Division brought important results in the race for the season's goals, with some teams confirming their good form and others disappointing on the road.
In Korça, Skënderbeu won 1-0 against Iliria in extra time, thanks to a penalty converted into a goal by Mario Beshiraj in the 90+5′ minute, after a foul inside the area. Laçi and Pogradec have successfully completed the task, just like the Korça team. Kurbinasi won 3-1 at home against Burrel, while the Likenor team won 5-1 at home against Kastrioti.
Skënderbeg leads the standings with 60 points, Laçi follows in second place with 67 points and Pogradec third with 64 points.
In addition to the competition between the three teams to secure the two direct tickets to the Abissnet Superiore, there is also a big rivalry at the bottom of the table. Kukësi has won 2-0 against Apolonia, surpassing the Fieraks in the standings. The Northeasterners are ranked ninth with 27 points, Apolonia in tenth place with 26 points. Lushnja also got an important 2-1 victory over Korabi, but is still in the red zone, as it holds 11th place with 25 points. Luftëtari closes the table with 22 points.
