But some things need to be changed by law, because today anyone can be elected president of the football team; it is enough to have a few lek and take the leadership of a city's team, where the team is usually the product of several decades of the city or district.
There are cities whose team has been taken over by a tribe through a football association, where the association chooses whoever wants to take over the football club.
This should be changed by Armando Duka, because what happened also comes from the fact that there is no correct law in this regard, where there should be some filters for the one or those who take over and manage a team.
The president of the AFL, Armand Duka, has been threatened with his life because of his duty. The police arrested 5 people, and put two others under investigation, all from Kruja. The police put the following citizens in handcuffs: Redian Haxhi, Petrit Selmani, Brajan Selmani, Santiago Selmani and Nazmi Selmani. The arrested person, Nazmi Selmani, is a businessman and the president of the "Iliria" club in Fushë Kruja, who had a conflict with Duka about his decision-making. The other arrested and prosecuted are Salman's sons and relatives.
So a tribe threatens the president of the AFF! Meanwhile, it is learned that the Duke is guarded by the criminal police and the Republic Guard, although it is not officially confirmed. All the more so that Armando Duka is also the vice president of UEFA and this increases the weight of his physical protection.
This is unheard of, so there is an urgent need for the Federation with the government and the Parliament to make radical changes in the Law on Sports, especially in the part about what criteria you have to meet to be a team president, etc.
There are team presidents with a criminal record, but they hide behind the name "president", as there are also people who launder the money of crime in football, receiving benefits from municipalities in construction permits, etc.
Therefore, there is an urgent need to intervene in sports, especially in football, for a new law.
Let's not forget that the number two of European football has been threatened, although with the cloak of the president of Albanian football! Today, the European sports and non-sports media will start making an example of the Albanian case. And this lowers Albanian prestige./ Our Time
