The lead singer of the iconic rock band Jane's Addiction got into a fight with guitarist Dave Navarro in the middle of a show in Boston on Friday night. Frontman Perry Farrell was singing into the microphone before being approached by Navarro and touching him, sparking a fight and stopping the show mid-song.
Fans at the concert say tensions appeared to build over the course of several songs with some eyewitnesses suggesting Farrell began yelling at Navarro during 'Mountain Song'. Navarro appeared to be completely 'blindsided' as crew members rushed to the scene and grabbed Farrell in an attempt to pull him away.
The stage lights dimmed making it hard to see exactly what was going on. Moments later, Navarro, Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins gathered back on stage and hugged each other, waving to the crowd and making peace signs.
Fans believe the band may have come to the end of the road once and for all. The trouble appeared to start in New York City, where the band played two nights earlier this week at Manhattan venue Pier 17, overlooking the East River.
Rumors circulated on social media earlier this week that there were tensions between the band members.
