Miss World Albania 2023, Elona Ndrecaj, in a recent interview, emphasized the importance of preserving our culture and identity. She said that it is very important to show our culture as it is, without trying to become something we are not.
Elona confessed that she came from a village and that she is not ashamed to talk about life there, where there were also livestock. “If you don't have livestock in the village, I don't know why you are in the village,” she said proudly.

I often show the simplest foods on social networks, a week ago I posted a pie. Now we can't become something we are not. It is very important to me if I go to the village. I come from a village, I grew up in the village and I am not ashamed at all to show that we had livestock. This is the most normal thing, even if you don't have livestock in the village, I don't know why you are in the village. This is very important to me and to show that you don't always have to be "fancy". Work has now made me travel and go to different places, but you have to keep your place and be proud of where you come from and not be ashamed to show it.
