Victoria Beckham has revealed the reason she decided to have her breast implants removed. In a new interview with The Sun newspaper, she revealed that the decision came as a result of a personal and professional transformation, citing the help of renowned designer Roland Mouret. Beckham, 51, said that it was working with Mouret that made her realize that she didn't need to help her image to be taken seriously.
"I don't know where those breasts went, but they're gone. It was definitely working with Roland that made that difference. He's so brilliant and I wouldn't have a career in fashion if it weren't for him," she said. According to Beckham, this decision came from a need to be more authentic and not feel like I had to be someone else.
Speaking about her fashion career, Beckham explained that Mouret had a huge influence on her transition from music to the fashion industry. "Roland saw something, I don't know what, but we connected and he believed in me," Beckham revealed in the Netflix documentary.
In the interview, Beckham also reflected on her fashion choices in the '90s and early 2000s, admitting that those outfits and images were part of her search for purpose after her career exploded with the Spice Girls.
