The Democratic Party has appealed to the Complaints and Sanctions Commission the decision of the Chief State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, who ordered the continuation and completion of the counting of any electoral documentation arriving from abroad.
This also includes the envelopes that arrived from Greece. It is precisely the votes that came from the Hellenic state that are being contested by the Democrats, who claim electoral manipulation.
Meanwhile, today, the Electoral College overturned the Democratic Party's earlier lawsuit over the Greek votes. They upheld the KAS's decision to allow the Greek votes to be counted and not separated from the others.
About 53 thousand envelopes out of 68 thousand sent have arrived from Greece. It remains to be seen whether the counting will bring changes to the current configuration of the results of the party entities, but also of the candidates on the preferential lists.
