The feud between the leader of "Nisma Thurje", Endri Shabani, and that of "Shqipëria Bëhet", which ended with the collapse of the "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition, continues to attract attention.
In an interview for "Exclusive" on TCH, Shabani spoke about the life threats he has received, making direct accusations against Lapaj, his father and cousins.
While speaking about the behind-the-scenes of the clash, Shabani said that "it seemed like the battle was over Adriatik's career and salary, and since he is the leader of the coalition, people expected him to have a higher standard."
-Think you've focused your powers on the war within the species...
There was no war within the species. It is a disappointment. I never expected from the new forces, from the Adriatic, no, no, from the young people or politicians in 2025 that the issue of a mandate would be resolved with criminal groups or threats.
There is a red line that was crossed with threats. After the threats of our activists, towards me… The threats have been to life. Serious threats from dangerous actors. A file is being prepared. I personally would like this debate not to go to the courts. Today there is no longer a coalition, I am sorry to say.
The first thing Adriatiku started the threats to life, the scolding… after Adriatiku, his father. Those cousins are Adriatiku's, they are very, very problematic and all this was before it became problematic. They knew Zeqiri's number, my number… that's why he turned off the phone.
Lapaj made a commitment to us, to his own activists, to his own voters. He committed himself by telling people that he was not fighting for his own seat. After the elections, there was a retreat from this stance. He left a disappointment to the electorate, to the activists and to the 'Nisma Thurje'.
I can't convince Zeqiri that while he keeps his word, Adriatiku may not keep his word. Zeqiri had no intention of becoming an MP.
-Are you disappointed in your uncle for the actions he took without asking you?
No, I think I should have done it, not Zeqiri. I should have put that wall up for the Adriatic.
The Knitting Initiative and activists have felt left out, not appreciated for the contributions they have made. If votes are manually divided, neither the Knitting Initiative nor Albania Becomes will have mandate conditions.
