Scenes from the protest

The 58th anti-government protest ended this Monday evening. After marching through the streets of Tirana, the protesters returned to the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, where they concluded their next rally and warned that the protests will continue in the coming days.

The march, which began after the speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, took place on the usual route through the streets of the capital, under increased security measures.

During the route, the protesters also stopped in front of the Parliament building, where they leveled accusations against the MPs and the majority, chanting: "Parliament of crime!" and "140 MPs, all of whom are illiterate!".

Earlier, during the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office, activists and citizens opposed the "Besa" platform presented by Prime Minister Edi Rama, emphasizing that their demand remains unchanged: the resignation of the head of government and the holding of free elections.

Even during the evening march, cries of "Rama go away", "Resign", "New Albania" and "Revolution" were heard continuously, while the protesters reiterated that they will not stop their action until the announced objectives are achieved.

The 58th protest ended without incident, while organizers have announced that rallies will continue every day.
