The leader of Albania Becomes, Adriatik Lapaj, seems determined to enter Parliament as a deputy in September. Lapaj has appealed to the Electoral College the decision of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission, which left him without a mandate.
Just a few days ago, the KAS overthrew him and the CEC, leaving MP Lapaj without a mandate. It also stripped his cousin, Kleana Xhuveli, of her mandate, giving it to Ana Dajko.
Lapaj has filed his lawsuit today against the KAS decision in whole and in part against the CEC. He is seeking to be recognized as the winner of the open list with the preferential votes of citizens for the Tirana district.
It also requests the non-recognition as valid of the revocation of the resignations on July 15 and 17 by Zeqir Kordhoni, Endri Shabani's uncle who was the first to claim that his resignation signature needed to be verified because he did not remember Kleana Xhuveli, whom the CEC declared the winner.
