Fatmir Xhafaj's exploits are endless. Even though he heads a peripheral commission with no role, Fatmir Xhafaj has gone back on his horse and is playing gangster with the heads of institutions.
In recent days, several institutions have reported to the Committee for Civic Initiatives, Cooperation and Institutional Oversight. The heads of the KLSH, SPAK or KLGJ were there and Xhafaj clashed with everyone, giving them 'lessons' on how to work. He did the same today with the Ombudsman, who is to report on the work of the institution. Even though Endrit Shabani has just taken office and the report talks about the year we left behind, Xhafaja clashed with him by making 'garip'.
Shabani: The Ombudsman has had 4 advisors and continues to have the same number. I think our institution needs more inspectors. I ask that we have more presence in the field. I have new offices in the districts and I cannot accommodate them, because we do not have enough staff. Only 21 percent of the Ombudsman's recommendations are implemented. I am not satisfied with this performance.
Xhafaj: What are you satisfied with and what are you not… You need to change your language, because you are speaking to me here as if you are the leader of the party, not the People's Advocate.
Shabani: I came to represent my institution, this comment does not honor you. I am not a politician.
