Actor and director Gëzim Kame praised Dhimitër Anagnosti's work as extraordinary.
In a statement to the media after paying homage, Kame said that Anagnosti was a professor of directing and that the characters he built were legendary.
"He was a professor of directing in all directions. Looking at Anagnosti's activity, you notice that he is laconic in everything. He was an extraordinary editor of works, and he kept the work. His work as a director with the actor in the film was extraordinary. He had a single motive for the actor's eye to speak in everything on the screen and he did not part with this thing until the end. The characters in Anagnosti's films are legendary for the Albanian screen. A very great artist. He will be remembered as one of the greatest filmmakers. He had extraordinary intelligence and culture. You had to think when you talked to him. He was not a "dictator of beauty", he was demanding. He was persistent in finding the beautiful, the good, the wise and the right", he said.
