A tourist agency bus went off the road and ended up in a side canal in the Ishull-Shëngjini area, during the afternoon of this Saturday.
According to preliminary information, the bus was returning from Shëngjin and at the time of the accident there were no passengers on board, but only staff members of the tourist agency.
It is learned that the driver of the vehicle had chosen to drive on a secondary road to avoid heavy traffic at the exit of the tourist area. During the journey, on a narrow section of the road, another vehicle appeared in front of the bus.
To avoid the collision, the driver swerved to the side of the road, but due to the terrain and lack of space, the bus skidded and ended up in the side ditch.
The people in the vehicle immediately got out and were not injured. Only material damage to the bus was recorded from the accident.
Traffic police services have arrived at the scene, and are working to fully document the incident and clarify the circumstances that led to the bus leaving the road.
