A Portuguese citizen who had come on holiday to Albania has disappeared and is suspected of drowning. Police said that at around 18:00, near the lagoon, in the place called "Buka e Vivarit", Portuguese citizen AG, 57 years old, who was with some of his friends, has not been seen since the moment he swam into the sea.

The Saranda Border Police Services, in cooperation with land patrols, continue searches at sea and in the area around the coast, to find him.

The investigative group set up by the Saranda Police Commissariat is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
