All those bloggers/influencers who share photos, stories or reels on social networks and who benefit from them now will be taxed. So they should see this activity as a real business.
Finance expert Ilir Brasha, invited to the "Aldo Morning Show", announced that the law has come into effect and since March 31, all influencers are obliged to declare their personal income.
According to him, even bloggers who earn through social networks will now be treated as business entities, thus subjecting them to the same fiscal obligations as a marketing professional.
Studio conversation:
Ilir Brasha : Influencers will be considered in a way as business entities, so they will be taxed like any other individual in society, namely for a story on their social networks, which may or may not be private. Any person who shares a photo, story, or reels on social networks and who creates income through this distribution will be considered as taxable income.
Aldo : Is this a bill?
Ilir Brasha: It has come into effect and on March 31 of this year, all influencers must file personal income declarations.
Aldo: Can't just anyone be called a blogger anymore?
Ilir Brasha: Now, just like with genders, a blogger can be considered anyone who calls themselves one. But, bloggers who generate income through the use of social networks, in a way they will be called business units now, just like a marketing unit would operate.
