Police have raided two homes belonging to Lord Mandelson. The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation into Mandelson after emails showed he had leaked sensitive government documents to Jeffrey Epstein.
Two addresses, one in Camden, North London and one in Wiltshire, are being examined as part of the investigation.
Five police officers were seen entering and leaving Lord Mandelson's home near Regent's Park on Friday afternoon.
They knocked on the door before entering the property, with one of the officers appearing to be wearing a small body camera. At one point, they were seen leaving the house and taking a blue box and a large bag before re-entering.
Assistant Commissioner Hayley Sewart, from Scotland Yard, said: "The checks are linked to an ongoing investigation into misconduct in public office offences involving a 72-year-old man. He has not been arrested and enquiries are ongoing."
