A fire broke out this Tuesday afternoon on a plot of land near the southern ring road of Elbasan, requiring the immediate intervention of the fire service.
During the operation to isolate the flames, the officers heard several explosions, which according to preliminary information resembled the explosion of bullets. Their source has not yet been determined.
State Police forces are also at the scene, having established a security perimeter to avoid any danger to citizens, while they are conducting verifications to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
There are no reports of injuries so far. Authorities are continuing to work to fully extinguish the fire, while investigations into the causes of the flames are ongoing.
