From the 19th day of the protest, the citizen listed the problems that, according to him, are emptying the country and accused the government of presenting a false reality.
The protest against the government continued this evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where there were no shortage of speeches by citizens who took the floor from the podium located on the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard. One of the protesters listed a series of social and economic problems that, according to him, are weighing on Albanians, while calling on Prime Minister Edi Rama to step down.
" We need to take down all the fences. Let's talk about the young people who can't buy houses, who can't have children. For the mothers and fathers who can't buy medicine, who expect from their children and grandchildren ," he declared to the protesters.
Continuing his speech, the citizen focused on the phenomenon of abandonment of rural areas and emigration, raising concern about the emptying of the country.
" Let's talk about Albania, where everything is closing down, there are no more villages. We are being replaced by Asia or other countries in the world. The government tells us that here is a field of flowers. That tourism is good, but where is this money? ", said the protester.
At the end of his speech, he also raised questions about the lack of response of other institutions to the situation that, according to him, the country is going through.
"Why is the president silent?" he declared amid applause from protest participants.
The speech was received with ovations from the crowd gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, while the 19th-day protest continues with calls for the removal of Edi Rama and a change in the political situation in the country.
