Scenes from the protest

After the march to the Parliament and the stop in front of the DP headquarters, the 19th day of the protest continues on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard.

The protest has returned to normal. After today's actions in front of the Parliament and the march towards the Democratic Party headquarters, hundreds of citizens have returned to the Prime Minister's Office, where the daily rally against the government has been taking place for 19 days.

Gathered in front of the government building, the protesters continued with the same calls that have accompanied the protest over the past few days. "Rama go away", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "The end has come for you" and "Hand over the mandates" were some of the most heard slogans at the evening rally.

They initially blocked the entrances to the Parliament while the plenary session was in progress, forcing MPs to leave through alternative exits. They then marched towards the Democratic Party headquarters, where with chants of “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison” and “Opposition sold out,” they sent a clear message that their opposition is not limited to the government.

Despite today's expanded itinerary, the protest has ended where it began 19 days ago, in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Organizers and participants declare that the mobilization will continue in the coming days, while the main demand remains the resignation of Edi Rama.

What started as a reaction against the project in Zvërnec has now turned into a broad movement against the government and the political class, with protesters promising not to retreat from the path of protest.
