Lawyer Ylli Manjani has stated that recent political developments in the country have reminded him of the novel "Jam Muslim" by writer Ben Blushi, saying that the author had prophetically "foreseen" the situation that is unfolding today.
Invited to Euronews Albania, Manjani said that, just like in Blushi's book, everything started from a seemingly small cause, ironically expressing that today "they want to remove Skanderbeg from Elissa."
" I have recently been reminded of the prophecy of my friend Ben Blushi, who in his latest book 'I am a Muslim' prophetically describes what is happening, how people gather in Tirana to remove the bust of Skanderbeg for a circumcision.
"It's Rama, it's Skanderbeg and they want to remove 'Elisa's Skanderbeg'. Things are connected. For a circumcision, people start from a useless thing ," said Manjani.
Regarding calls for revolution, the lawyer took a critical stance, stating that revolution is a concept belonging to the extreme left.
" You know my allergy to revolutions, and those who talk about revolution are leftist extremists and communists. Those who come up with revolutionary logos make Edi Rama's failure look like a flower ," he said.
Manjani also focused on the Justice Reform, which he described as the most failed revolution in the Albanian state.
" I think we have made a great revolution called 'Justice Reform', an anti-establishment revolution applauded by the crowd. We have built a political system to hit the state ," the lawyer declared.
