Although the 48-hour deadline from the moment of the competition's conclusion to announce the winner has passed, the media have announced that the Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari, has forwarded to the Prime Minister the 3 names most highly evaluated by the commission, which was composed of 3 officials of the Ministry of Interior, subordinate to the Head of Government and Minister Lamallari.
In the show "This Week" on News24, journalist Ferdinand Dervishi, commenting on this process, said that the selection of a director has nothing to do with the Albanian reality and the personality of the director, it has to do with the personality of the prime minister.
"There is no director who will be elected as the best, the one who is hit and will change the situation. It is the spirit and support that will be given by politics and state structures. This has been missing. For comparison, Mond Koseni beat them and hung them by the hand on oranges. The most successful director was Bajram Ibraj," he said.
Dervishi did not prefer to speak by name, but said that "the winner could be a director who has been a director in an important directorate before. He has a good name but is inextricably linked to politics."
