Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the next episode of the podcast "Flasim", after talking about the increase in oil prices, in the second part he invited 4 girls from China, two representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Albania and two students.
Rama in this episode spoke about the "special friendship" between Albania and Beijing, at a time when the US and the EU warn about the potential dangers of Chinese influence in our country.
Asked by one of the girls, the head of the Albanian government said that relations between the two countries were once very close, while now they are friendly.
Rama praised the technological progress that China has made while expressing his openness to more exchanges with this country in the fields of education and tourism. He indicated that he is supporting the translation of a book from Chinese and that the author will be invited to Tirana. According to Rama, the Chinese language is spreading more in the world and that in the coming years it will be important.
During the conversation, Rama also recounted a moment from his visits to China, where a senior official in Shanghai sang in Albanian during an official dinner. As he explained, the mayor of Shanghai had sung during the dinner the song "between fields, factories and construction sites", which is related to the period of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania, or otherwise, the communist period.
"I remember when we went many years ago, when I was mayor of Tirana, and we went and had dinner at the Shanghai municipality and it was the mayor of Shanghai and he got up and started singing in Albanian.
And we all stood there, saying "how is that possible". And all those who were older than him, started to accompany him with songs in Albanian. He sang a song "among the fields, factories, construction sites", said Rama.
The Prime Minister stated that from the letters he receives from the Chinese embassy in Albania, he has not found any errors in the way they write the Albanian language.
"The girls come from a country that is on the path of dizzying progress. But, despite the fact that all four are from the People's Republic of China, they have Albanian names. I am here today with Lira, Adriana, Merita and Etleva. Because the Chinese students who are designed to engage in relations with Albania, have Albanian names.
The invitation to have these Chinese girls came after it occurred to me that when I read the letters sent by the Chinese embassy, which can be official letters that come in a transliterated or direct form, they are perfect in how Albanian is written. I have been looking at the letters to find any spelling mistakes, but I have not found any so far. If we spoke Chinese like these Albanians speak, it would be very good…”, said Rama.

E ka cuar Ameriqia te zbuse Chinezet qe ta kete mire me ta. Do te mbuloje mu... me shu... me qe nuk e honepsin me Perendimi. Kush e dredh me shume rron me mire ka thene nje i mencur.
Ka pune te rende Palloshi. E tregon vete se si merret me "gabimet" gramatikore te letrave qe i dergohen. Nese ka filluar te luaje me disa porta, nuk e paska te gjate. Kujtoni qenin qe "shurroi" te dera e xhamise.
