The opposition protest ended about 90 minutes after it started. The most tense moments were recorded on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, while unlike other times, the protesters did not throw fireworks and Molotov cocktails towards the Prime Minister's Office, but a few meters away.
The most numerous clashes at a distance between protesters and police took place on "Deshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, where there was an intensification of throwing Molotov cocktails at the blue uniforms.
The latter responded with water cannons against the group of protesters, while there was no clash or violent intervention by the police to disperse the protesters. According to the footage, the protesters moved towards the DP headquarters.
The protest lacked speeches, while what was observed was that the police prevented a march of protesters through the streets of the capital, thus interrupting the scenario that the opposition seemed to have planned.
The protest began at around 8:00 PM, while most of the opposition supporters gathered at the DP headquarters to then move to the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office building. The protesters stayed there for about 30 minutes and then a move towards the Ministry of Interior was considered, but near the former Dajti Hotel, a police cordon was set up that stopped the march. This is where the most incidents in the protest were recorded, where the police threw water cannons and small amounts of tear gas, while the protesters threw Molotov cocktails and fireworks.
