The "Paris 2024" Olympic Games have entered their 6th day. Even this Olympics, like the others in the past, have confirmed Serbia as the leading country in terms of medals won in the countries of the Western Balkans. Serbia has won a total of 24 medals in the Olympics (7 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze).
Kosovo immediately comes in second place. The "Dardane" representative won a total of 5 medals. Of them three gold, one silver and one bronze. The Kosovo delegation received the silver and bronze medals at "Paris 2024", thanks to the talented judokas who make every Albanian around the world proud, Laura Fazlliu and Distria Krasniqi.
In the lowest place on the podium from the countries of the Western Balkans, which have Olympic medals, is North Macedonia, which has one silver and one bronze medal.
Montenegro closes this classification with a single (silver) medal. While the only countries in the region without medals in the Olympics are Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina. Let's hope that our athletes will give us the first medal in the history of the Olympics in the coming days.
