Bayern Munich have reiterated their firm stance regarding Michael Oliseh's future, sending another clear message to Real Madrid and president Florentino Perez.
Speculation about the Madrid club's interest in the French striker has increased after Perez's statements before the Real presidential elections, when he promised to submit a bid of 150 million euros for a big name in European football. According to reports, the player in question was Michael Olise.
The first reaction from the German champions came through honorary president Uli Hoeness, who declared that Oliseh would not leave Bayern even for 200 million euros. Now, the same position has been confirmed by club president Herbert Hainer. In a direct statement, he stressed that the French player remains part of Bayern's long-term plans.
"Michael Olise is a Bayern Munich player and has a long-term contract. We are not a club that sells," Hainer declared.
He added that so far there has been no official offer from Real Madrid, while also sending a clear message to Florentino Perez.
" If Florentino Perez wants to make us an offer, which has not happened so far, he better not bother ," said the Bayern president.
The statements from Bavarian leaders show the club's determination to keep Oliseh in Munich, despite potential interest from one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
