Arbana Osmani responded to a curious follower who asked her if it had ever happened to her that a guest asked her not to publish part of the interview. Arbana admitted to something like this and on the other hand gave a strong reason why she does this.
“Of course, it’s completely normal,” she wrote. “In a time when social media statements are taken out of context, short videos mislead viewers, comments are ruthless, and headlines are abusive, all the characters are very careful not to be misunderstood. As someone who is misunderstood from time to time, I completely understand.”
The moderator added that in her television formats she always tries to protect the guests and maintain the integrity of the conversation. "People often forget that behind every interview there is a person with emotions, sensitivity and fear of judgment. That is why I always show care and understanding," she implied sensitively.
