The two Berisha sisters, Antonela and Mariela, have appeared in court, where the verdict against them for injuring Klea Prenga is expected today.
The Tirana Prosecution has requested a 3-year prison sentence for Mariela Berisha, who is currently under house arrest, for the injury of 26-year-old Klea Prenga, which occurred during the summer of last year. If she is found guilty and after requesting a summary trial, the sentence could be reduced to 2 years in prison.
For Antonela Berisha, the prosecutor has requested 3 years of probation, which can also be reduced to 2 years in the event of a shortened trial.
The two sisters turned themselves in to the police in October 2024 and are accused of committing the criminal offense of "intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration.
