Cher claimed that late music producer and convicted murderer Phil Spector asked her for sex when she was just 15 and he was in his early 20s.
"He was acting strange and I didn't like the way he was looking at me," she wrote.
Cher claimed that Spector asked her to sleep with him in French and was surprised when she responded in the same language.
""Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?""[ss "Do you want to sleep with me?"] he said, smiling, asking me to sleep with him," Cher recalled of the alleged conversation.
"Without stressing, I returned it and answered: 'Oui, pour l'argent'" (Yes, for the money), she recalls.
He didn't think I would understand the question, let alone have an answer," she added.
The "Believe" singer had another negative interaction with Spector later in her life when she told him about the illegal use of her vocals on a song released in Europe.
Cher said he tried to scare her by pulling a gun and twirling it around his fingers, but she remained unfazed.
Even after he showed her his gun, she remembers him saying, "Don't mess with me, Philip! It's me, Cher, okay? ... Put that damn gun away.'
The singer claimed that Spector apologized and they no longer had any problems.
Spector died in 2021 at the age of 84. He died in a California prison while serving a 19-year-to-life sentence for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
