The Socialist Party Assembly is holding a meeting in unit no. 2 in Tirana. During his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that work for next year's elections has started earlier. The SP Chairman said that the need for restructuring work in Tirana has been identified.

This means that the economy is working. Everyone learned that the economy is not just about what we do here, but also what happens far away from us. We learned this with the pandemic that came to us from afar and with the war in Ukraine, which hit us like everyone else, with energy and we are seeing it again now with oil, which is being affected by the war in Iran.
On the other hand, we have learned, yes, but also the people, to sit back and say that this is the situation, whether with the pandemic, or with the earthquake that was a force majeure, or with the war in Ukraine, we have made reactions that have relieved people and helped prevent the economy from collapsing.
We are the only country that has reduced the price of energy, especially for those who pay for energy or those who have the capacity to spend it, and 10% is not a small amount, it has decreased.
Even with oil, you have seen that with the Transparency Board we have managed the price, the time would come, some conditions should be created for the state to enter this market, not that we did not want to do it. And the state, by entering first, should guarantee reserves in any case because the world is very big and often turns in the wrong direction. We are preparing to enter the market with a state component, but also to introduce some innovations related to new technological capacities, whether with oil branding, which is almost the first product of the public company that we have made with the United Emirates, to brand oil and to make it impossible to evade fiscal obligations as a result of the new marker, because the old marker that we found from that infamous predecessor was easily manipulated and by tracking transit oil which is one of the sources of smuggling. With these, we will increase revenues in the state budget and guarantee the quality and reasonable price of oil.
I could go on and on about investments, we started with 2 million tourists, including us. Meanwhile, we no longer count Albanian passports as tourists. We have reached over 2 million tourists and over 1.5 billion in tourism investments and income.
