Clashes over the agenda have accompanied the plenary session in the Assembly, where Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi got involved in a debate with the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi. In ironic tones, Korreshi objected to the way the session was conducted, while accusing the government of cheating regarding IPARD funds.
Korreshi: "It's good that you listen a little bit from here in the hall, because we're talking about you. Comrade Chairman, hello... hello. Comrade Chairman..."
Peleshi: "Comrade Mayor, go meet him where your friends are. This is not the Folklore Concert session."
Korreshi: "When we talk, we address you-you, you-you about this regulation because we voted for it with pomp. If you made it for toilet paper, make it thinner than a sliver. Make it for us in the morning, pilaf time, today is law day, when there is a session. Do you know where these things that happen in the Assembly? Come here and make us feel sorry for you! We are not your employees, if they told you, they lied to you. The opposition will open the IPARD funds. So don't tell us these tales. I know how rhetoric is avoided, when Marta Kos doesn't become buttermilk, she should speak properly. So don't tell us tales with a king. This is not a parliament and we are not your employees. Those laws that we have, overthrow them, but they should be here in the Assembly."
